3 Delicious Cobbler Recipes

Every kitchen should have a few delicious cobbler recipes because most people love them.

There are many of us who enjoy baking as a hobby for our friends and loved ones. Most of us tend to hang on to recipes that are simple and give us a great result. We have no qualms with great pastries, but we tend to gravitate to those baked goods that are simpler for us to make. This is why a lot of us prefer making and cooking cobblers instead of making pies. We find that pies are more complex and require more patience and time – when we may not have either.

One thing that we love about cobblers is that they are a lot more forgiving than pies are, and they also come together a lot faster. The pie maker is not very fond of juicy fillings, but they are wonderful to see in our cobblers as their biscuity dough serves to soak up all that delicious fruity sauce without becoming mush.

Now let us consider the difference in time commitments. A pie dough requires lots of rolling, some folding, and then resting – unless you already have pre-made crusts on hand. So there is no comparison to the time required. Cobblers are served much faster from scratch than pies are, and it is not even close. In addition, cobblers also cool tremendously quicker than pies, which in turn means that you are eating it way before you get to eat your pie.
